Practitioner faculty for undergraduate and graduate information technology programs in the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School. Graduate and undergraduate teaching concentrations include: Information Systems (design, development, implementation, maintenance, and analysis); E-Commerce; Project Management; Internet Multimedia; Computer Program Design; Service Oriented Architecture and Blue Ocean Strategy. Graduate program teaching concentrations include Information Security Architecture and Assurance; E-Commerce Security; and Service Oriented Architecture Security.
Provided manpower data analysis for the DOD and U.S. Army Total Warrant officer Studies. Acted as the principal warrant officer manpower analyst for the U.S. Army Deputy Chief of Staff for force sustainment and operational efficiencies. CW3 Burnett developed the first-ever Artificial Intelligence Expert System to determine the skill and grade requirements for Total Army Warrant Officer Force authorizations. Provided manpower analysis for Total Army Force for sustainment operations for Operation Desert Storm, and manpower reductions for Total Army Objective Force Models for TOE and TDA reorganizations under the 1988 and 1991 BRAC commissions.
Designed instructional materials used in warrant officer and engineer officer training. Instructional material included utilities and electrical power systems operations and maintenance for field and fixed facilities. Developed first program of instruction for team-based training. Designed and developed skill and specialty tracking for Warrant Officers, Captains and Majors. Participated in the development of a new information management system for programs of instruction.
Developed instructional material for electrical specialty track for Nuclear Power Plant Operators Course. Instructed electrical special training.
Designed instructional material for power generation equipment. Design included instructional material for gas turbine, diesel and gas engine generators. Design included utilities support systems of air conditioning and refrigeration, water treatment and medical utility support systems.
Provided instruction to enlisted and officer personnel on turbine powered utility units.
