Session 1 - Student Exercise 1

  • 1. Students will setup Adobe Dreamweaver development environment for local, testing and live website using Dreamweaver site server setup.
  • 2. Download Testing Server files and folders to your local development folder.
  • 3. Change the student name in the index.html file to your name.
  • 4. Upload local development site index.html file to testing development site.
  • 5. Preview testing development files.
  • 6. Upload testing development site to live site.
  • 7. Preview in browser live files.

Session 2 - Student Exercise 1

  • Chapter 3 - Exercise 3-1
  • 1. Complete Chapter 3 - Exercise 3-1, Page 120 using Dreamweaver.
  • 2. Download Chapter 3 exercise zip file to desktop. Unzip files and folders and place in Session I - IV local development folder.
  • 3. Students will upload local development site to testing development site.
  • 4. Students will preview in browser development files.
  • 5. Students will upload development site to live site.
  • 6. Students will preview in browser live files.

Session 3 - Student Exercise 1

  • 1. Complete Exercise 4-1, page 164.
  • 2. The basic.html file listed in Exercise 4-1 is located in the templates folder on your developmental site.
  • 3. Students will upload test files to development site.
  • 4. Students will preview in browser development files.
  • 5. Students will upload files to live site.
  • 6. Students will preview in browser live files.

Session 3 - Student Exercise 2

  • 1. Complete Exercise 5-1 and 5-2 on page 197 using Dreamweaver.
  • 2. Students will upload test files to development site.
  • 3. Students will preview in browser development files.
  • 4. Students will upload files to live site.
  • 5. Students will preview in browser live files.
