Knowing Technology IV: AI in Your Smart Home

Course Outline:

The course is designed to provide students with an overview of the history and science of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Students will learn the history of artificial intelligence and how machine learning is currently being used to implement AI technologies. Students will also learn about the current state of technologies used in AI like Voice Recognition, Remote Sensing, Computer Vison and Hearing, and more. Students will learn how sensory technologies are being combined to provide new capabilities that enable Autonomous Machines that learn. The course is a single three-hour session about AI.

Prerequisites:

Computer Basics, File Management Skills, or equivalent experience.
