ITI 080 MS Excel 2013 Level I

Course Outline:

Learn the basic features and functions of Excel 2013. After an introduction to spreadsheet terminology and Excels window components, learn how to use the Help system and navigate worksheets and workbooks. Then, learn how to enter and edit text, values, formulas, and pictures, and how to save workbooks in various formats. Work with absolute and relative references, and work with ranges, rows, and columns. Finally, create and modify charts. Simple functions, basic formatting techniques, and printing are also covered. This course follows the curriculum for the Microsoft Office Specialist core-level for Excel 2013 (exam 77-420) and the Microsoft Office Specialist Expert for Excel 2013 (exams 77-427 & 428). For comprehensive certification training, students should complete MS Excel—Levels I, II, and III.

Prerequisites:

Computer Basics and Working with Windows 7 or PC File Management experience.
