HTML Level II CyberAdvantage - Overview

Course Outline:

Enhance and optimize your website using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and the jQuery libraries. Topics include advanced HTML5 elements and attributes for forms. JavaScript functions and the jQuery libraries are also covered. The jQuery Core library and jQuery UI library is also covered. Advanced jQuery techniques and JavaScript Plugins to effectively use Slideshows, Multimedia Views, Accordions, and advanced HTML5 Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) will also be covered. The Dreamweaver Integrated Development Environment (IDE) will be used for all website design and development.

The course covers the advanced HTML5 Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to include: AJAX, JSON, Web Storage APIs, and the HTML5 Geolocation API. An introduction to web application vulnerability testing and testing applications are included. Web application vulnerability analysis, to inspect and debug website elements, using Google Chrome DevTools and the Firefox Firebug tools will also be conducted.

Prerequisites:


ITI-239 HTML5 Level I, CYB-002 HTML5 Level I, or equivalent experience is required.
