ITI 239 HTML5 Level I - Overview

Course Outline:

Learn the basic building blocks of designing and creating websites optimized for modern computers, tablets, and mobile phones using HTML5 and CSS. Topics include basic HTML5 elements and attributes, including hyperlinks, images, and tables; techniques to effectively layout web pages using new HTML5 structural elements; Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to format and control placement of HTML5 elements; use of media queries to handle a variety of devices including screen, printer, and mobile phone; web hosting fundamentals; and effective use of meta tags.

Prerequisites:


Working with Windows 7 or equivalent experience, familiarity with Internet and keyboarding skills.
